Safety Village of Darien - 2010 Schedule
REGISTRATION FOR ALL 2010 CLASSES
Wednesday evening - April 21st – 6:30 p.m. promptly- until 7:30
Safety Village facility - 7400 Cass Ave - Darien
$95.00 per student (Checks made payable to Safety Village of Darien)
Numbers and applications will be put out at 4:00 p.m. You may come and take a number and application, but you must return by 6:30 sharp! Numbers will be taken in the order called. If you are enrolling more than one child, you need to only take one number. You can ONLY enroll your children.

8 - 10 YEAR OLD - JUNE - CLASS SCHEDULE (class runs for 5 days)
(Class size - 30 students)
Monday, June 14th – Friday, June 18th
9:00 a.m. - Noon
Parent Orientation – Thursday evening – June 10th – 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Parent Orientation - Thursday evening - June 17th - 7:00 p.m. at Safety Village

Classes are open to all children, no matter where you live. If you have a child who has been in our 5 - 7 year old class prior to this year can have their name placed on a waiting list. Former students can only be considered after June 1st, so that all children have an equal chance to attend once. But your children are eligible to attend the 8 - 10 year old class without restrictions. The class for the older children has an entirely different curriculum and it is our wish to have those children who attended our younger classes, attend the 8 - 10 year old class.
PARENT ORIENTATIONS
We strongly urge both parents to attend our parent orientation. It will explain all aspects of our program and allow you time to ask questions of the staff. Our Directors feel it is very important to spend time with the parents before the session opens. You will understand everything far better and you will have spent time getting to know some of the teachers.
We ask that you do not bring your children to parent orientation. We discuss different points of classroom work and show a video that could be disturbing to the children. Also, having small children attend could be disturbing to others attending. If you have never attended a Safety Village program, we strongly urge that you attend parent orientation. Look at it this way it is a night out without the kids! Attend parent orientation and then go out for coffee and a piece of pie!! Bakers Square is just a short distance away! Of course, there are many other interesting restaurants in the area (we want to give equal time to all establishments in the area).
